Immigration Bill Pieces Reassembled

In a piecemeal approach, Senate Democrats seek to revive parts of a defeated bill to overhaul immigration policy. One effort would put illegal immigrants who came to the U.S. as children on a path to citizenship if they enroll in college or join the military.

I  think that this idea is wonderful.  Even if you buy into the argument that the parents broke law by entering the country without a visa, the children should not be punished for their parents’ actions.

  2. i would like to know about the children who were age 15 and under, were brought in this country legally by their parents on investors visa, and the chidren having done their middle and high school and their college and graduate degrees as F1, would they be given a chance to become a US Citizen. Parent are law- abiding tax payers for last 11 yrs. where do these children stand. Would they same rights as children who were brought here illegally.
