Fake Immigration Attorney, Clients Seek help from the Bar

The New York City Bar Association office was packed with more than 100 victims of a fake immigration attorney on Monday evening. The fake attorney was identified as Victor M. Espinal, 59. He was arrested last month and charged with defrauding his clients. The victims were present in the association hall to attend a free clinic that was being organized by the New York City Bar Association with 54 volunteer attorneys ready to help and advise foreigners on their immigration and other legal matters. The victims complained of different forms of fraud by Mr. Espinal, seeking immediate action against him and urgent help for the victims.
